The Knights of St. Andrew is made of select Scottish Rite Masons and exist as a service organization on behalf of all members of their Valley. They are under the immediate supervision of the Deputy to the Supreme Council, Personal Representative or Sovereign Grand Inspector General of their Valley and provide services where they are needed. This includes, but not limited to, aiding the Tylers, acting as greeters, providing escort services for dignitaries or for special events during reunions or other functions, serving as guides, assisting with the Scottish Rite Degree work, and helping present the Colors. The Knights of St. Andrew also assist in calling committees, participate in parades or civic activities, promote fund-raising events, and aid in any special event.
Their flexibility and enthusiasm make the Knights of St. Andrew one of the Valley's most active and desirable organizations. It is an excellent way to nurture and develop future leaders as they learn their organizational and leadership skills, explore the inner structures of their Scottish Rite Centers, and thus gain a deeper admiration for our Order and Brethren who work in Freemasonry as a whole.
The Phoenix Knights of Saint Andrew meet on the first Wednesday of every month, with the exception of July and August. Dinner is held at the Desert Rose (6729 N. 57th Dr. Glendale, AZ 85301) at 5:30pm, and the meeting is held at the Phoenix Scottish Rite Lodge (7726 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85301) at 7:00pm.
If you are interested in joining or learning more about the Knight of Saint Andrew, please see Chieftain Scott Tracy or contact Bro. Francis Fritz at email@example.com.
